How Many Gems Can I Earn? 📈 #

Daily / Weekly Averages #

  • Free-to-Play: ~4,000 Gems per day / ~27,000 Gems per week
  • Monthly & Lifetime Pass: ~5,000 Gems per day / ~35,000 Gems per week

These numbers assume you’re doing almost everything: Growth Events, dungeons (especially Phantom Sword Island), and general daily activity. Your exact total can vary based on your luck and how far you’ve progressed in the dungeons.

What Are Gems Used For? 💰 #

Gems are used almost everywhere in Capybara Go. Most players spend gems on:

  • Limited Secret Chest banners for rare / limited equipment
  • Weekly Wheels (Big Adventure, Mystic Sea) for Arcana

Big Adventure

  • Big Adventure wheel is one of, if not the most important weekly wheel to spend your gems on to obtain Adventurers like Dragon Girl.
  • Hero & Brand wishing to unlock or upgrade units
  • Gem Chest Wishing to obtain gems for your gear

⚠️ Just because you can spend gems on something doesn’t mean you should. Your priorities change based on your current stage of progression. Make sure you know what you actually need before you dump gems.

Should I Spend Gems on Guild Donations? 🏰 #

Short answer: Usually yes.
Long answer: It depends on where you are in progression. Ask yourself:

  • Can you clear all 4 rounds of the Pet Build Growth Event easily?
  • Have you already bought the essentials from the Guild Shop (Pickaxe, Raid Tickets, Gems, etc.)?

If you answer no to either of those, donating to your guild is a good use of gems.

🔥 Most important question: Will your guild kick you if you don’t donate?
If yes, donate. Survival first.

Limited Secret Chest vs Legendary Treasure Chest 🎁 #

Always pull on the Limited Secret Chest. Here’s why:

  • You can save up 180+ pity without being forced to pick.
  • Your pity doesn’t reset unless you actually spend it.
  • The Angel Bow banner is the main banner you should be pulling on (unless you are extremely new).

Equipment Banner

The Angel Bow/Shadow Lance/Blade of Justice banner includes three pieces of extremely strong, universal gear:

  •  Dragon Breath Armor
  •  Judgment Ring
  •  Bloody Grail

Strategy tip: Whichever weapon dupes you have more of, make that weapon to Mythic, then use a Swap Ticket to transfer it into a meta weapon for your build.

Common Gem Mistakes to Avoid ❌ #

Dungeon Dive

  • Not buying 2 Dungeon Dive Challenge Vouchers daily.
Dungeon Dive has one of the best gem-to-reward ratios in the game. Even if you’re stuck and can’t push higher, you should still buy and use those tickets.
  • Ignoring Dungeon Dive’s real value.
Dungeon Dive gives you Lucky Silver Coins for the Capy Gacha machine, which you need for advanced mounts and artifacts. Those matter long-term.
  • Pulling on the wrong banner.
You should mainly be spending gems on the Angel Bow Limited Secret Chest banner. Don’t waste pulls on random equipment pools.
  • Wasting gems in the Black Market.

Black Market

  • The Black Market looks tempting, but most of it is bait. A good buy is 50%+ discounted goods that you need.
If you are extremely new, a few Golden Horseshoes or Pet Eggs can help. But once your pet eggs are around level 9+ and you’re progressing in Dungeon Dive, stop buying that stuff.
  • Not saving enough gems.
You should always keep at least 32,000+ gems saved. Limited-time events and special banners are where you get huge combat power jumps. Having gems on hand gives you instant power when those events show up.

How to Get More Gems 💎 #

1. AFK Rewards ⏳ #

  • Log in and claim often to keep your idle income flowing.
  • Upgrade the Golden Hourglass collectible to increase your AFK yield.

2. Dragon’s Lair & Phantom Sword Island 🐲🗡️ #

These dungeons are huge sources of gems. Important detail: failing a challenge does not consume your ticket.

How to push deeper:

  • Equip two Icy Bubbles
  • Use a build that can keep combos going (example: Diego)
  • Spam attempts over and over until you win
  • After ~20–30 attempts, once you’ve cleared the hardest level you can, just sweep it

Repeat this loop until you’re farming at max difficulty.

3. Growth Events 📅 #

  • Every completed round in a Growth Event = 1,000 Gems.
  • There are 4 rounds total.
  • Make sure your builds/resources are strong enough to clear all four rounds each time the event appears.

4. Other Gem Sources 💠 #

  • Guild Boss rewards
  • Breaking stones in Goblin Miner (small gem chance)
  • Certain energy-based events
  • Buying Fearless Packs that appear every 5 chapters (usually better value than buying raw gems but extremely expensive)

Note: There are more gem sources in the game, but the ones above are the ones you can actually increase or optimize with better play and planning.

How Many Gems Are in a Gem Chest? 📦 #

Gem Chest

A standard Gem Chest typically gives around 650 Gems on average.

Quick Tips 🔍 #

  • Buy your two Dungeon Dive tickets every day
  • Save pity on Limited Secret Chest and focus on Angel Bow Banner
  • Keep a 32K+ gem emergency fund
  • Don’t get baited by Black Market offers
  • Guild politics matter – if not donating will get you kicked, donate

Gem Spending Recommendation (F2P Focused) #

Always get:

  • Dungeon dive tickets x2
  • Horse shoes in Black Market at 50% off or better

Savings:

Once you reach ~30M power, keep a savings of 50,000 gems as backup for
big events / Black Market.

Savings should increase over time as shown in the
“Where to use gems over the savings amount” section.

“Savings” = the amount of gems you should hold for a rainy day.
Only spend these on high-value events or things specifically mentioned in this guide.

Anything above your savings amount can be spent on growth, following the rest
of this guide.

Black Market Growth Event (Do not confuse with normal Black Market)

Black Market Growth

  • Legendary Keys: Always get them.
  • Horseshoes: For mount tier 6 and below only: Buy them if you’re not super low on gems and a big event is coming soon.

Where to use gems over the savings amount:

This depends on your progression and can vary person to person.

The recommendations below assume a typical free-to-play player.

Events

Events can have insane value or terrible value. With events now happening weekly, your gem spend rate can spiral if you’re not careful.

Always ask if the current event is good before you burn gems.

As of June 2025, saving goals have been raised to take advantage of good events and long-term gains.
