These are the skills tier list for Story Chapter, but loosely apply to any content where you can select skills.
These serve as general guidelines. For detailed insights into each skill’s hidden coefficients and some reasoning behind their rankings, please refer to the Skills Database.
The goal of this tier list is to highlight skills in Story that have the most impact in helping you clear it.
In the late game, damage becomes far more important than survivability, as story bosses have massive health pools and you can very easily run out of turns.

Whisperer & Elres’ Whisper Skill Tier List #
This skill tier list is insanely complex. The footnotes below are a must-read if you want to understand some of the reasoning.
Whisperer/Elres’ builds have so many variations and nuances that making an accurate list is just impossible.

Note that this is all through the early/mid/late game progression some skill can goes up or down depends on your adventurer level and gem also. Ex. With 8* Adventurer, the rage proficiency would be a net-positive for us.
Durian Hammer & Seles’ Suffering Skill Tier List #
So there isn’t any skill tier list because we HIGHLY do not recommend you use Durian Hammer or Seles’ Suffering for Story progression.
While those weapons may work in early to mid game, they’ll highly cap your progression late game. These two weapons are better for counter builds in PVP.
Skill Pre-reqs (Skills to Avoid) #
Choose wisely when selecting skills.
Avoid picking skills that crowd up your Legendary and Mythic skill pool options.
